Haita Xanadu Scenic Area is located at the source of Longdong River in Miyi County, Panzhihua City. The water area of Haita Lake is about 600,000 square meters. It is shaped like a crescent moon, also known as Yueerhai. Because of the good vegetation and vast waters, the air here is extremely fresh, filled with the fragrance of flowers and trees, and full of oxygen-rich ions.
The terrain of Haita is like the hull of a ship. According to legend, the predecessors built a hexagonal white pagoda on the mountain as a mooring stake for the boat, hence the name "Haita".
