introduce

At the northern end of Dunhuang, there are existing branches of the Han Great Wall from Yumenguan to Yangguan, from Yangguan to Danghekou, and from Mamitu to Wanyaodun. With the passage of more than two thousand years and the destruction of wind, rain and quicksand, part of the Great Wall was razed to the ground, but most of the Great Wall was preserved. Among them, the Great Wall around the Danggu Tunnel in the west of Yumen Pass is well preserved, with a foundation width of 3 meters, a residual height of 3 meters, and a top width of 1 meter. It is a relatively complete section of the Great Wall of the Han Dynasty in my country.

The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty is still basically intact. There are 15 piles of firewood piles next to the peaks, which are used to light beacon fires when necessary. The larger ones are 2 meters long and 1.3 meters high, and all of them have been condensed into fossils. More than 1,200 valuable Han bamboo slips have been unearthed in the beacon towers of the Great Wall of Han Dynasty.
