Hehuan Mountain, also known as Hehuan Main Peak, is one of Taiwan's Baiyue Mountains, located at the junction of Hualien County and Nantou County. Since the surrounding area is connected by seven peaks, they are collectively called Hehuan Peaks, and they are the watersheds of Taiwan's main rivers Dajia River, Zhuoshui River and Liwu River. Hehuan Mountain is covered with snow in winter and is known as the "Snow Town". In spring and summer, Yushan dwarf arrow bamboo grassland, Yushan Rhododendron and Rhododendron azalea bushes are pleasant scenery. There are Hehuan Mountain Villa and Songxue Building in Hehuan Mountain to provide accommodation. It is located at 33K of Taiwan 14A Line. There is an observatory next to the highway to overlook the Qilai peaks.
