Hemu Grassland is located in the intermountain basin where Kanas River and Hemu River meet in Burqin County. The forest around the basin is dense and verdant, and there is a harmonious natural scene during the period of wild animals.

The Hemu Grassland is divided into two halves by the Hemu River. The shady slope is full of green grass, blooming like brocade, bees and butterflies, and the sunny slope is densely forested, verdant and wild. Hemu Village, the largest Tuva village in the Kanas region, is located on the vast Hemu Grassland.

The Hemu River flows from northeast to southwest, and the primitive villages and prairie are harmoniously and naturally integrated. There are scattered wooden houses on both sides of the river. Groups of cattle and sheep are grazing leisurely on the slopes. In the distance is a dense virgin forest, lined with blue sky and white clouds, which is very quiet. The hillside next to the village overlooks the panorama of Hemu Grassland, which is a paradise for photographers.
