Hequ Racecourse

There is a well-known proverb in Tibetan areas, Fayu is in U-Tsang, Ma is in Amdo, and people are in Kham. The Amdo Tibetan area is naturally proud of its horses, and the Hequ horse is indeed a relatively large horse among the local breeds in China. The grassland where it is raised is naturally extraordinary.

Hequ Racecourse is located 19 kilometers southeast of Maqu County, around Manrima Township. There are three teams in total, occupying half of Maqu County. This is a wetland grassland, and there are many red-crowned cranes and swans in the swamp.
