Located in Xisuo Village, Zhuokeji Town, Malkang County, Xisuo Residential House is a village with typical Jiarong Tibetan characteristics. The entire stockade is row upon row, well arranged, and looks like an ancient castle from a distance.
Xisuo dwellings have the typical architectural style of Jiarong Tibetans "building stones as rooms". The surroundings of the houses are built with flakes of stone and glued with yellow mud, up to one meter thick. The wall is straight and tidy, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom, supported by wooden beams inside, and the stability is quite good. The windows of the houses are all small on the outside and big on the inside. The window frames are exquisitely made, carved and painted, and everything is used to the extreme, with strong national characteristics. The dwellings are beautiful in appearance, solid in construction, warm in winter and cool in summer. Each building is an exquisite work of art, let alone a piece of art.
