"Hoh Xil" means "green mountain ridge" in Mongolian. In Tibetan, this area is called "Aqin Gongjia". It is one of the areas where the original environment is well preserved, and it is also one of the nature reserves built in China with a larger area, a higher altitude, and richer wildlife resources. Hoh Xil has a severe cold climate and harsh natural conditions, making it impossible for humans to live for a long time. It is known as the "forbidden zone of life".
