The Hong Kong Space Museum is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, next to the Victoria Harbour. The unique egg-shaped design is very eye-catching. The Stanley Ho Planetarium can play ultra-high-definition animations and movies on the full dome screen. The star projector projects more than 8,000 stars in the sky including the sun, the moon, and the five planets of gold, wood, water, fire, and earth onto the sky, bringing you unprecedented Star Journey. Audiences can use the headsets in the Planetarium to choose narration in Cantonese, English, Mandarin or Japanese.

There are 9 exhibition areas in the space science exhibition hall, introducing ancient astronomy and modern astronomy respectively, as well as the history of rocket development, artificial satellites and space stations. A solar telescope with a diameter of 20 cm is installed in the hall, and the corona, prominence, chromosphere and photosphere of the sun can be seen. The hall encourages the audience to operate the instrument by themselves. Visitors can simulate launching a rocket here, or use the robotic arm to collect rock samples on the simulated surface of Mars, and even experience the feeling of walking on the lunar surface whose gravity is only 1/6 of the earth.

On the west side are the astronomy exhibition hall, lecture hall and astronomy bookstore. In the astronomical exhibition hall, you can learn about the trajectories of the sun, the earth and the moon and the phenomena that cause solar and lunar eclipses. The lecture hall will hold various types of astronomical exhibitions and lectures from time to time, and is also open to schools, groups and the public.
