Hongfu Temple is located in the east of Beishe, 23 kilometers northeast of Dingxiang County. It was originally a temple. There are five main halls facing south, five halls in the east, two halls in the west, a gate in the south and surrounding walls. The five-room main hall hangs six purlins on the mountain, and the depth is three rooms. The structure is solid and beautiful. In the middle of the gate of the main hall hangs a plaque of "Pilu Zhenjing", which is written by Li Hang of the village in the ninth year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty. There are mainly nine Buddha statues in the hall, and there are many sporadic statues and hanging sculptures. In the center is Sakyamuni, on both sides are Kasyapa and Ananda, on both sides are Manjusri and Samantabhadra, on both sides are auxiliary statues of Bodhisattvas who serve as Bodhisattvas, and on both sides are two statues of King Kong. The entire group of statues has a harmonious rhythm and well-arranged arrangement. They are exquisite, unique, lifelike, and full of artistic imagination. They are quite different from ordinary imitation works, and are of considerable value for the study of traditional sculpture techniques.
