The Horseshoe River is the upper source of a tributary of the Nanpan River in Gengjiaying Township, Yiliang County. The Horseshoe River originates in Ganmalong County, flows south into Yiliang, and has silently cut the karst plateau in the north of Yiliang for hundreds of millions of years. Because it is hidden deep in the canyon, few people see its appearance, especially the section of the lower reaches of the Horseshoe River, which is inaccessible and basically undeveloped.

Walls stand on both sides of the river, and vines and old trees grow tenaciously in the crevices of the rocks. The river has a large drop, and the river is rushing. It slaps on the rocks, making strange sounds, and the water echoes. There is a path leading directly to the river.

Go straight down from Yangqiao Village, there are Longtan and Great Waterfall, and then go down the river for 3 kilometers to reach the intersection. Leaving Yangqiao, the surface is not undulating much, and the mountains are connected to the mountains, forming a hilly landform, but there is no river. There is only a canyon with a depth of several hundred meters left on the land. Climbing on the edge of the cliff, looking down vertically, you can faintly see the yellow water light from the gaps in the bushes. The path covered with dead branches and rotting leaves, no one has walked for an unknown period of time. The road is full of slippery moss and mud. The road is close to the cliff, only 20-30 centimeters wide, and outside is a bottomless river valley. If you are not careful, it may become a free fall. There is also a beautiful canyon in Yiliang that cannot be ignored, that is Chaishitan Reservoir, a dam stretching across the Nanpan River, forming a 33-kilometer canyon, and wandering among the green mountains and green waters by yacht, it must be another kind of feeling.
