Houer Tiankeng Tourist Resort is located in the middle of Kaiyang County, Taoziwo Villager Group, Shitou Village, Chengguan Town, connected to Dongshan Village, Chengguan Town to the east, Nanliang Village to the north, and Shitou Village to the southwest. Tiankeng is named "Karst Funnel" in terms of geography and landform, also known as "Shiwei Group". Regarding the formation of tiankengs, scientifically speaking, in large areas of carbonate rocks, due to abundant rainfall, the rainwater dissolves the rock mass along the fissures to form a groundwater system. Huge underground cavities, when the crust moves, are affected by orogeny, and the underground river system is continuously eroded downwards, resulting in the vertical collapse of the entire rock layer or continuous downward erosion.
