Houliu Town, Houliu Ancient Town, and Houliu Water Township are 3A scenic spots. It is located along the Han River 18 kilometers south of Shiquan County, bordering Chihe Town of the county to the east, Xihe Town to the south, Iron Town and Xibian Township of the county to the west, and Chengguan Town to the north. This ancient town is about 25 kilometers wide from east to west, 13.5 kilometers long from north to south, and covers an area of about 154 square kilometers. It currently governs 14 administrations, 105 villager groups and 1 neighborhood committee, with a total production of 4960 households and a total population of 14611. Houliu Town, located on the bank of the Han River, has a vast water landscape, rich natural resources, and rich cultural heritage, just like a superb ink painting. In 2017, Houliu Tourism Ancient Town won three awards in a row, China Rural Tourism Model Village, Top Ten Famous Tourist Towns in Shaanxi Province, and Top Ten Boutique B&Bs.
