The Huajiang Iron Chain Bridge is located on the Beipan River at the junction of Guanling Buyi and Miao Autonomous County and Zhenfeng County in the west of Anshun. It was an important hub for the transportation between Guizhou and Yunnan in ancient times. The iron cable bridge hangs between the two mountains and is composed of 14 thick iron chains, each of which is composed of 262 chains. The bridge is about 71 meters in length, 2.9 meters in width, and is about 70 meters above the water surface. Hundreds of large squares are laid on it as the bridge deck.
