Huangbaiyuan Scenic Area is located in Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, with a total area of 896 square kilometers. The scenic area mainly includes Taibai Mountain National Nature Reserve, Huangbaiyuan Aquatic Biology National Nature Reserve, and Niuwei River Giant Panda Nature Reserve. In 2013, it was declared as a national 3A-level scenic spot. Currently, there are Dajiangou Scenic Spot and Primitive Forest Scenic Spot. The scenic area is rich in resources such as forests, minerals, water energy, biology, and medicinal materials, with a forest coverage rate of over 96%; there are many kinds of wild animals, including giant pandas, golden monkeys, takins, red-bellied pheasants, and leptospirosis. Huangbaiyuan Scenic Area is one of the most primitive ecological areas in the Qinling Mountains. It is known as "Natural Oxygen Bar" and "Jiuzhaigou in Qinling Mountains"; Beautiful Township", "Shaanxi's Most Charming Original Ecological Scenic Spot", "Shaanxi Featured Tourist Town", and "Baoji Beautiful Village" were awarded "National Ecological Cultural Village" in September 2014.
