Huanggang Liang is the remaining vein of Daxinganling, which is composed of 27 peaks, among which Huanggang Peak is the peak of Daxinganling, with an altitude of 2029 meters. The Huanggangliang forest region is the source of the Mushixiazi River and the Xilin River, which are tributaries of the West Liao River. There are high mountains and dense forests, more than 30 kinds of wild animals such as deer, roe deer, leopard, fox, and wild boar, and more than a dozen kinds of mountain birds such as fighting cock and pheasant. It is an ideal leisure hunting place. There are larch or spruce forests here, the trees grow vigorously, and the forest atmosphere is strong. It is a rare natural forest community in the north of Saibei. It opens in July, and the forests are fully dyed in late autumn.
