Huanglong Cave is located in the Qinglong Gorge Scenic Area and is one of the rare karst cave landscapes in Qinglong Gorge. Huanglong cave is 10 meters high, 6 meters wide and 50 meters deep. It is said that it is the place where Huanglong lived. Walking into the cave, you can see many ponds in the shape of lotus petals. During the flood season, the ponds are filled with clear water, and the streams in the cave are gurgling, which is very interesting.
According to legend, when Qinglong and Huanglong played chess, Huanglong moved to live in a cave in Qinglong Canyon after losing. Huang Long's daughter-in-law refused and was dragged down the mountain by Huang Long. Now, the shrubs from Huanglong Cave to Xiaohuanglong Cave at the bottom of Qinglong Canyon all grow down the slope, which is the relic left by Huanglong dragging his wife back then.
