Huanglong Scenic Area is mainly divided into two parts, Huanglong Headquarters and Muni Valley. The main ditch of Huanglong in the main part of Huanglong is the main scenic spot of Huanglong Scenic Area, and it is also the place generally referred to when talking about Huanglong scenic spot.
Huanglong Headquarters is located on the east side of Songpan County and Chuanzhusi Town, and is divided into Huanglong Main Ditch, Xuebaoding, Danyun Gorge and other scenic spots. The main ditch of Huanglong is a canyon under Xuebaoding Mountain. An artificial plank road has been built in the ditch. You can walk to the bottom of the ditch. You need to climb five or six hundred meters. It takes about 4 hours to visit the bottom of the ditch and return from the trail to the mouth of the ditch. If you are not physically strong enough, you can also take the cableway into the ditch. It is recommended to go up the cableway to the bottom of the ditch and then walk all the way down to the mouth of the ditch.
