Huayudong National Forest Park is located in Nanxi Town, Hekou County. It is about 85 kilometers long from east to west, 7.2 kilometers wide from north to south, and covers an area of about 1576 hectares. Huayudong Forest Park is a forest park with forest landscape as the main type, and the forest vegetation types are mainly seasonal rainforest and Lime Mountain monsoon forest. In November 1992, it was approved by the Ministry of Forestry. After the approval of Yunnan Dawei Mountain Nature Reserve in June 2001, it was formally included in the jurisdiction of the reserve.
