Huifu Temple is located in the south section of Huifu Road in the middle of Daban Town, Balin Right Banner, Chifeng City, covering an area of 7,100 square meters. It is a large-scale ancient building complex in the early Qing Dynasty and an autonomous region-level cultural relic protection unit.

The temple was first built in the 45th year of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1706). The temple is composed of two parts: the temple and the square in front of the temple. There are more than 160 existing buildings. In 1726, Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty bestowed a golden plaque with the words "Pujue Temple" in Mongolian, Chinese, Manchu, and Tibetan in the Empress Hall; in 1786, Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty bestowed a gold plaque with the words "Huifu Temple" in four languages in Mongolian, Han, Manchu, and Tibetan in the Front Hall. The main Buddha statue of Huifu Temple is "Three Generations Tathagata", and the main scriptures are "Ganjuer" and "Tanjuer". It is also known as the "Tiger Temple" by the folks. It is said that Emperor Kangxi hunted a colorful tiger in the pine forest of Baldam Hara Mountain (now Bayanhan Mountain) when he visited Bahrain to visit his daughter. White grass, eyes embedded with glass balls, are vividly offered in the temple, which is the origin of the term "Tiger Temple".

Huifu Temple currently has halls for meeting scriptures and worshiping Buddha halls, which are majestic and solemn. It is a relatively large lamasery in the Balin Right Banner of the Gelug Sect (Yellow Sect) of Tibetan Buddhism. Most of the ancient architectural complex has a complete layout and well-preserved murals. It is still a well-known ancient temple and Buddhist activity place in the grassland outside the Great Wall.
