Hunshandake Sandy Land is one of the top ten desert sandy lands in my country. It is located at the southern end of the Xilin Gol Grassland in the central part of the country, 180 kilometers away from Beijing in a straight line. It is the sand source closest to Beijing. The Hunshandake sandy land is rich in water and grass, with peculiar landscape and beautiful scenery. Some people call it "Jiangnan outside the Great Wall", while others call it "Garden Desert". There are many wild animal and plant resources there, and it is a breeding ground for migratory birds, as well as many plants and medicinal materials.
