Every spring and summer, the mountains are full of wild flowers and grasses, colorful, bees love butterflies, and are full of vitality. Among the sparse forests, there are also clusters of arrow bamboos, adding a bit of southern beauty to the northern landscape. Within a hundred miles of Huoshizhai, there are many large and small towering peaks, among which the famous ones are Saozhu Ridge, Shisi Mountain, Zhaobi Mountain, etc., and the natural stone city is the most peculiar. Huoshi Village not only has a fascinating natural landscape, but also has more than a dozen grotto buildings, which are in the same line as the Xumi Mountain Grottoes.

The Zen Buddhist Temple Grotto is connected to Mount Sumeru, also known as "Mount Sumeru Zen Buddhist Temple", which is a holy place for the spread of Zen Buddhism in the Tang Dynasty. The grotto is chiseled on a pinnacle-like pagoda-like pinnacle. The pinnacle is about 120 meters high, like a spear piercing the sky. If you climb to the top of the peak, the clouds and mist will float under your feet. There are 10 existing grottoes in the east and west of Shifeng, and the remaining murals, stone sculptures and so on. Among them, the largest grotto is 15 meters away from the peak, which is in the shape of a rectangular flat top. Local residents offer three clay statues of gods. There is a grotto in the lower half of Shifeng, which is 15 meters deep, 4 meters wide and 5 meters high. The cave can accommodate more than a hundred people. The strange peaks and rocks around the main peak of the grottoes rise in the sky, or sink into the valley, with different shapes.

The Broom Ridge Grottoes are located in the group of stone peaks 5 kilometers south of Huoshizhai Township. They are named for the moso bamboo that grows on the mountain to make brooms, also known as "Yuntai Mountain" and "West Wudang". The forests here are verdant, the water is clear, especially the strange and towering stone mountains give people the feeling of "Guilin landscape". The mountain peak looks like a fairy, quite charming. The main peak of Broom Ridge is surrounded by cliffs, but there are stone steps to be climbed in the northeast corner. The magical natural landscape is integrated with the cultural buildings on the mountain.

The Yuhuang Pavilion, the Great Buddha Hall, the Bodhisattva Hall, the Niuwang Hall, and the Longevity Palace have more than 30 caves distributed on the stone walls about 330 meters long from east to west. The rectangular Great Buddha Hall is 9 meters deep, 6.1 meters wide and 5.45 meters high. Most of the statues in the grottoes have been destroyed, and the remaining stone sculptures, niches and murals remain. There are 4 relatively complete stone statues, the largest one is a standing Buddha with a height of 4.8 meters and a belly circumference of 4.4 meters. There are also three bronze Buddha statues in the grottoes, one of which was made by Tuoba Tao, Emperor Taiwu of the Northern Wei Dynasty (424-452);
