Hutuo River, also known as Huchi or Huchi in ancient times, commonly known as Grape River by local people, is one of the upstream tributaries of Ziya River in the Haihe River system. It originated in the area of Qiaoergou Village, Taixi Mountain, Fanshi County, Shanxi Province. It flows southwest between Hengshan Mountain and Wutai Mountain, turns eastward at Jiehe River, passes through Zhoushan Mountain and Taihang Mountain, and flows eastward to Zangqiao, Xianxian County, Hebei Province. It merges with Fuyang River to form Ziya River and then flows into the sea. The Hutuo River has a total length of about 587 kilometers and a drainage area of about 27,300 square kilometers.
