ice lake

The ice lake is located at the foot of Jiangjun Peak in Meili Snow Mountain, about 4,100 meters above sea level.
Glacial lakes are formed by meltwater from glaciers. Starting from the base camp, climb all the way along the narrow and steep path, and reach the frozen lake in about an hour. Standing on the hillside next to the ice lake, the green lake water reflects the blue sky and white clouds, and against the surrounding white snow peaks, it is calm and serene. There were two small ice piles next to the ice lake, which were formed by ice avalanches on the mountain for many years. In recent years, as the weather has warmed and tourists have increased, they have slowly melted away.
