Iron Fortress is located on the west side of Renai Village, Nangan Township, Matsu. It was originally a rocky reef protruding from the sea. Due to the difficult terrain, it became a military stronghold and later became a scenic spot open to the public.
There are underground stone chambers, tunnels, gun mounts, nozzles, rooms, toilets and kitchens in the stronghold. The facilities are complete. You must walk along the stone steps and climb down the steps to enter the iron fort.
