The Shigang Dam is located in the valley area of the middle reaches of the Dajia River between the Dajia River and the Xinshe River Step Group. It is a river barrage dam mainly supplying people's livelihood and industrial water in the Taichung area. There are piles of pebbles in the downstream, and fishing enthusiasts can often be seen by the river.
