Yunshanping Cableway
The lower station of the cableway is located by the Baishui River at the foot of the snow mountain, and can be reached by taking the scenic environmental protection bus. You can take the Yunshanping Cableway to reach Yunshanping at an altitude of 3,240 meters. This is a good place to see the peaks of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from a distance.
Maoniuping Cableway
Maoniuping is a large lawn located on the other side of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, about 15 kilometers away from Yunshanping. Climb to Maoniuping, you can enjoy the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from another angle.

1. Generally, rainy weather will not affect the opening of the scenic spot except for the discounted scenery. During heavy rain and extremely bad weather, the ropeway may be closed, which is usually rare. 2. The altitude rises quickly by taking the big cableway, and many people are not used to it at once. It is recommended to move slowly to prevent altitude sickness. There is no need to panic if there are adverse reactions, you can go to the infirmary of the scenic spot for consultation and treatment. The scenic spot does not prohibit the elderly and children from visiting, but due to the higher altitude, the rapid ascension, weak tourists are advised to consider carefully.
3. After taking the cableway up the mountain, the temperature will be relatively low. It is recommended to bring moderately warm clothes. Under normal circumstances, on the basis of the dress at the foot of the mountain, add one or two thicker coats. If it is winter or rainy and snowy weather, you need to bring a down jacket (the service point in the scenic area can also be rented).

Whether it is around the ancient city of Lijiang or at the foot of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, there are locals soliciting customers, suggesting that tourists "ride on the mountain and see the panoramic view". It is not recommended to take credit, there is no security guarantee for this type of service, and riding a horse will never go to the top of the mountain.
6. Taking the big cableway up the mountain is the way of the public, so there are a lot of people queuing up every day. When it is exaggerated, it may take 3-4 hours just to queue up. If you don't want to queue, it is recommended to arrive at the scenic spot as soon as possible. It usually takes 4-5 hours to go up and down the big cableway.
