Jade Emperor Temple is located in Fucheng Village, Zezhou County. It is a Taoist temple with a large scale and wide influence in ancient Zezhou. It is unknown when the temple was founded, but it was rebuilt on the original site in the ninth year of Xining in the Northern Song Dynasty (1076), and it was inscribed "Jade Emperor's Palace". The main existing buildings are the Jade Emperor Hall built in the Song Dynasty, the Emperor Tang Hall built in the Jin Dynasty, the left and right duo halls in the backyard and the east and west verandahs were built in the Yuan Dynasty, and the rest were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The temple faces south from the north, and the architectural layout is a three-entry courtyard with a rectangular plane layout. From south to north on the central axis, there are Toudao Mountain Gate, Yimen Gate, Chengtang Hall, Xianting Pavilion, Yuhuang Hall, East and West Side Halls; , Silkworm Temple and wing rooms, the second floor of bells and drums.

The shape of the mountain gate is a single eaves hanging from the top of the mountain, decorated with colored glaze, and the glazed peacock orchid components on the top of the Bell and Drum Tower complement each other, very bright. The temple of the gods lives in the middle of the middle courtyard, with wooden pavilions, three rooms wide, six rafters deep, with a single eaves hanging from the top of the mountain, elegant and simple, with a statue of Cheng Tang. There are statues of Dongyue and the Three Kings in the east and west side halls.

On the east and west sides are Yaowang Hall, Wudao Hall, and Gaomou Temple, and the inner plastics of Yaowang, Wudao General, Wenwang and his wife. The south hall, the Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva hall in the west, the ten halls of Yan Jun in the interior; the Liuwen hall in the east, and the statues of the six plagues in the interior. The main hall in the backyard is the Jade Emperor Hall, with a single eaves on the top of the mountain, three rooms wide, six rafters deep, and mullioned windows with board doors.

The colored sculptures of Song, Jin and Yuan Dynasties collected in Yuhuang Temple have extraordinary ornamental value and cultural relic value. The glazed components, murals and wood carvings in the temple are all outstanding; the colored sculptures of the twenty-eight constellations are the best in the world.
