The main hall of Jamba Buddha is located on the west side of Tashilhunpo Monastery. There is a big bronze Buddha statue of Jamba in the hall. This Buddha is the largest copper Jamba Buddha in the world. Jamba Buddha is called Maitreya in Chinese Buddhism. Buddha, in Tibetan Buddhism, Jamba Buddha is the future Buddha who is in charge of the future, so it is highly valued by believers. The main hall was built in 1914 under the presidency of the ninth Panchen Lama Quji Nyima. This Buddhist hall is divided into four steps, and each floor is folded higher.

In the main hall, Jampa Buddha sits on a 3.8-meter-high lotus base, facing south, and the entire Buddha statue is 26 meters high. It took 4 years to cast the entire Buddha, using a total of 110 craftsmen, using 6,700 taels of gold, 230,000 catties of brass, and a large number of diamonds, pearls, amber and other treasures.
