Jiache village is one of the well-preserved areas of Diaojiaolou group in the Miao ethnic group inhabited area of Guizhou. Because of the existence of ancient stilted buildings in Jiache Village, it was selected into the "List of Traditional Chinese Villages" announced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and other departments in August 2013.
When you come to Jiache Village, you will be surrounded by 10,000 mu of terraced fields, the village is located on the mountainside, and the terraced fields on both sides are separated by the Jiache River Valley, attracting you with its majestic terrain. The quaint stone roads in Jiache Village are built with scattered and crossed ancient buildings. The houses are all wooden structures and gray tiles. Occasionally, there are some walls on the first floor. The complete wooden houses blend harmoniously with the terraced fields. In the morning, you can still see wisps of cooking smoke. , that is the breath of life in the village.
