Jiangziya Diaoyutai Scenic Area is located in Tianwang Town, Chencang District, Baoji City, in the Fish Cutting Valley (namely Banxi Valley) of Tianwang Town. There is a stone in the stream, which is said to be the place where Jiang Ziya lived and fished in seclusion before he was involved in politics in the Western Zhou Dynasty, so it got this name. There are eight major parts of the scenic area, including Jiangziya Diaoyutai, Western China Film and Television Base, Jingshi Scenic Area, Bijia Mountain Scenic Area, Jinbo Gorge Scenic Area, Qingfeng Mountain Scenic Area, Xianrenba Scenic Area, and Yuhuang Mountain Scenic Area.
Jiangziya Diaoyutai and its cutting fish valley are located at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains. It is said that when Jiang Ziya was fishing here, he was visited by King Wen of Zhou and assisted the government, so the Western Zhou Dynasty was founded. Li Daoyuan, a geographer of the Northern Wei Dynasty, Li Bai and Xu Hun, poets of the Tang Dynasty, and Su Shi, a poet of the Song Dynasty, all visited here and wrote poems to remember the victory. Temple statues were built in Diaoyutai in the Tang Dynasty, and have been repaired and rebuilt in subsequent dynasties. Now people can see temples such as "Taigong Temple", "Wenwang Temple", "Wangxian Terrace", "Beggar Cliff", "Diaoyu Terrace", and wonders such as one stone carrying five cypresses.
