Jiayi Temple is called "Jiayi Echata Zhanlin" in Tibetan, which means "Jiayi Magic Liberation Island". It is located in A and B Agricultural Site, 27 kilometers west by north of Daotanghe Town, Gonghe County, Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province.
The Jiayi Temple covers a small area, and the Thangkas hung in the Sutra Turning Hall are one of its major features. There is a tall open-air cast copper and gold-plated Buddha statue in the temple, which is said to be the largest future Buddha (Maitreya Buddha) statue in Tibetan Buddhism. The height of the Buddha is 28 meters. The entire Buddha statue is magnificent, majestic, majestic, majestic and sacred. It was cast by the famous Tibetan entrepreneur Peng Maocidan with an investment of nearly 10 million yuan. The Buddha statue sits facing north, standing at the foot of Lumberg Saiqing Mountain (Nanshan, Qinghai) with the concept of a giant and visual impact. It is said that after the Buddha statue was cast, good omens appeared here many times, and the water level of Qinghai Lake also rose for the second time in 50 years. This shows that the Buddha protected the holy lake and brought auspicious happiness to the area around the lake.
Jiayi Temple is surrounded by mountains and lakes. Looking north from here, you can have a panoramic view of the vast Qinghai Lake and the emerald Erhai Lake.
