Jiayuguan Guancheng is located 5 kilometers west of Jiayuguan City, which is the western section of the Ming Great Wall. Guancheng was first built in the Ming Dynasty, and it is the most spectacular Guancheng along the Ming Great Wall. Because of the dangerous terrain and majestic buildings, it is known as "the most majestic pass in the world" and "the key to the border".
Jiayuguan Guancheng is located in the Jiayuguan Cultural Relics Scenic Area. The ticket is a pass and you need to visit the entire scenic spot. The scenic spot is not too big, the perimeter of the panoramic area is about 4 kilometers, and you can walk inside. If the physical strength is not good, you can rent a bicycle at the door to play.
The entrance is on the east side. After entering, you can first see the Heishan stone carving group, which is a group of stone carvings imitated by modern stonemasons, showing the history and culture of Jiayuguan. There are seven parks in the Heishan Stone Sculpture Group to visit. They are Celebrity Inscription Garden, Ancient Poem Garden, Chronicle Garden, Story Garden, Guerrilla General Stone Carving Garden, Wei and Jin Tomb Brick Mural Stone Carving Garden, and Heishan Stone Carving Garden.
Going forward, you can see the Jiayuguan Great Wall Museum, which is the first museum in my country dedicated to the history and culture of the Great Wall. The internal equipment is advanced, showing the history, culture, cultural relics and scenery of the Great Wall and Jiayuguan.
Going forward, you will reach the westernmost core area. Before entering Guancheng, you can visit Jiuyanquan Lake on the left. The "Nine Eyes Spring" is surrounded by beautiful water and grass, and the scenery is pleasant. It is a good place for the ancient army to raise horses and guard the border to prevent disasters. The current Jiuyanquan is rippling and clear. The beauty of "Nine Eyes Spring" lies in its quietness and calmness.
Finally, I came to Guancheng. Guancheng is divided into inner city and outer city. There are three main towers. There are Guerrilla General’s Mansion, Well Pavilion, and Wenchang Pavilion in Guancheng, and Guandi Temple, Archway, and Theater Building outside the East Gate. Each has its own history and characteristics, and it is worth visiting one by one. From the top of the city wall, you can see the foothills of the Qilian Mountains in the distance, and the Gobi Grassland at your feet is magnificent, giving you a sense of tragic history.
There are also many small stalls in the scenic area, most of which are folk historical features. There are group photos in ancient costumes, selling calligraphy and painting, etc. You can visit them one by one, and you can consume them when you meet your favorite items. There are also a variety of entertainment items to choose from in the scenic spot, including horse riding, camel riding, sand sports car and glider, etc.

must see tips
1. Jiayuguan tickets include the first pier of the Great Wall and the Suspended Great Wall. There is no shuttle bus between the three scenic spots, and you need to charter a car to go there.
2. Every time I go to the city to shoot at sunset, the sky and the earth are warm red, which can best capture the sadness and majesty of Guguan City.
