Jiegao Border Trade Zone is located on the southeast bank of the Ruili River, 4 kilometers away from Ruili City. The east, south, and north sides are connected to Muse City, the main port of Myanmar’s foreign trade. Jiegao means old city in Dai language. , Luchuan Wangsi once established the capital here, hence the name.
China-Myanmar Friendship Street is located on the side of the China-Myanmar border in Jiegao near the Chinese side. In March 1991, Myanmar also built a Burmese-style commercial store here.
