Jinchuan National Mine Park is located on the north slope of Longshou Mountains in the southwest of Jinchuan District, Jinchang City, Gansu Province. There are attractions such as the largest man-made tiankeng in China - the old pit of the open-pit mine and the longest main ramp in Asia. The main attractions are the old pit of the open-pit mine, including viewing platforms, greening barren hill slopes, greening of mine waste residues, mine science and technology museums, ore dressing and smelting, and tailings ponds. Since 2009, Jinchuan Group Co., Ltd., the Jinchang Municipal Party Committee, the military and the people have jointly built and promoted a mountain-style mine park with the characteristics of the Northwest Gobi Industrial New City on the waste residue mountains and barren hills.
