There are more than 50 ancient cultural sites of the Yellow Emperor period scattered in the east and west of the Yellow Emperor Zhudingyuan Scenic Area in Jingshan, and on both sides of Dinghu and Ershui. The dense distribution, large scale, richness of inclusions, and exquisite artifacts are rare in the country. It is a national key cultural relic protection unit and belongs to the Yangshao Cultural Site.
Since 1992, the local government has successively invested more than 20 million yuan in the Jingshan Huangdi Zhuding Original Scenic Area to restore and build large-scale buildings such as the Ancestor Hall, Xiandian Hall, and Quelou. In the tomb of the Yellow Emperor, new squares, pillars of meritorious deeds, corridors, shrines and supporting projects have been newly built. Jingshan Yellow Emperor Zhudingyuan Scenic Area covers a total area of 120 mu, with a green area of more than 80 mu and a lawn of more than 40 mu. In April 2001, 1,800 mu of cypresses and 396,000 cypresses were planted in the Lingbao Ecological Greening Demonstration Forest of China-Japan Youth in Zhudingyuan. In November 2001, Jingshan Yellow Emperor Zhudingyuan Scenic Area was rated as "AA" scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.
