It used to be the Setong Salt Field in the Qing Dynasty, but it was submerged by floods and moved to the vicinity of Waidutou in Jiali, Tainan. In the 23rd year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (AD 1818), it was ravaged by floods again. It was moved here in 1818 and has not been moved again. It is the first salt field in Beimen Salt Field, and it is also the oldest salt field in Taiwan. It has a history of more than 180 years. Later, the tile-pan salt field presented a mosaic-like beautiful art. In order to continue the spirit of its salt-drying industrial culture, the Management Office of Yunjianan Binhai National Scenic Area restored the salt field so that the special salt-drying landscape of "Jingzaijiao" still remains. It is kept on the coast of Yonghuali in the north gate, and now it has become a very special sightseeing salt field in the Yunjiannan Binhai National Scenic Area. Come here to play and experience the traditional fun of drying salt, picking salt, and collecting salt. An in-depth scenic spot suitable for parent-child travel.
