It runs through the entire Xing'an League from northeast to southwest. It is a large-scale ancient military defense project, also known as the Golden Great Wall or Wushu Great Wall. It is known as the largest military defense project in ancient my country after the Great Wall of Wancheng.
It is a fortification system built by the Jin Dynasty to defend against the gradually growing Mongolian tribes. It was first built during the Tianhui period of Emperor Taizong of the Jin Dynasty. It consists of five parts: trenches, walls, horse faces, fortresses, and Guancheng. It is 30-60 meters wide. The main wall is built with horse faces every 60-80 meters, and a side fort is built every 5-10 kilometers. The current remnant wall is generally 1.5-2.5 meters high, and the moat wall and the former site of the complementary border fort are clearly visible, still majestic.
Historically, it has not actually played the role it should have. In 1234 A.D., under the attack of the Southern Song Dynasty and Genghis Khan, the Great Jin Empire was destroyed in an instant.
