Jiuding Mountain is located in the south of Maoxian County, Aba Prefecture. The mountain has nine peaks and is covered with snow all the year round. It is commonly known as Jiuding Mountain. Visitors can not only climb to the top to challenge themselves, but also walk around and enjoy the scenery. They can also come here for skiing in winter.
In the scenic area, tourists can go to Bailong Pond at an altitude of about 3,200 meters. The vegetation here is lush, the water is clear, and the scenery is very good. It is suitable for taking pictures. You can also camp here and look up at the starry sky at night. The Heilongchi, which is at a higher altitude in the scenic area, needs some mountaineering experience to go carefully. The water is clear but slightly black, which is very magical. The water in Heilongchi freezes in winter, and it is said that yaks can walk on it.
