It is said that there is a giant python in this cave, so Chaoyang Cave has been regarded as a place of gods since ancient times, and people from far and near have come to worship and pray for blessings. After a long time, temple buildings appeared on the mountain below Chaoyang cave, and statues of python immortals were also built in Chaoyang cave, and there were also resident monks in the temple.
