Jizu Mountain mainly has Zhusheng Temple, Huayan Temple, Huideng Nunnery, Jinding Temple, Lingyan Pagoda and other historical sites, and you can visit them one by one along the route of the scenic spot. The entrance of the scenic spot is located at the archway of "Lingshan Yihui". You can walk about 11 kilometers to reach Zhusheng Temple, or you can go directly by car. Zhusheng Temple is a well-known and well-preserved temple in Jizu Mountain. It was built by the eminent monk Xuyun in the Qing Dynasty with the support of Cixi. Emperor Guangxu named it "Guoguo Zhusheng Temple". The "Jizu Mountain Panorama" painted on the tall screen wall on the left side of the temple gate is not to be missed. There are several ways to go up the mountain from Zhusheng Temple. It takes about 1.5 hours to walk, or you can ride a horse. The end point is the cableway station next to Huideng Temple, or you can take a battery car.

From Huideng Nunnery to the top of the mountain, you can choose to walk or take the cableway. Along the way, you will pass through temple buildings such as Kasyapa Hall, Bronze Buddha Hall, and Huashou Gate. Among them, Jinding Temple is located on Tianzhu Peak, which is the highest temple on Jizu Mountain. The original Golden Hall in the temple was rebuilt in 2005. It is said that it was repaired with gold, which is very gorgeous. When the weather is fine, you can see the Cangshan Erhai Lake from the Jinding Temple, and you can even see the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain in Lijiang.

If you have enough time and want to feel the rich Buddhist atmosphere of Jizu Mountain, it is recommended to stay on the mountain for one night. The Jinding Reception Office next to the Jinding Temple provides accommodation, and there is also a farmhouse inn that provides meals and lodgings on Xianghui Street, which is about 5 minutes away from the Jinding Temple.
