introduce
The tower of Kaiyuan Temple is an octagonal pavilion building with a height of 83.7 meters. There is a circle of corridors inside the outer walls of each layer of the tower body, and the whole tower body is like a small tower hugging a big tower. Inside the tower, there are murals of the Song Dynasty, brick-carved brackets and painted ceilings. On the two walls of the corridor, there are Buddhist niches and more than 30 inscriptions inscribed by celebrities of past dynasties. The colorful auspicious clouds carved on the doors and windows on each floor symbolize the universal light of Buddha. Standing here makes people feel like entering a Buddhist holy place surrounded by incense. The appearance of Dingzhou Tower is tall, straight and handsome, and it is mighty and magnificent. In the Song Dynasty, Dingzhou was an important military town adjacent to the Liao Dynasty. You can climb the tower to observe the enemy's situation, so the tower is also called "the enemy's tower".
