Kangduo Gorge Scenic Spot is located in the canyons of Yemu River and Chaba River in Kangduo Township and Diowa Tuzu Township, Zhuoni County, and belongs to the upper gorge of Yemu Gorge. It is connected with Yemu Gorge Xiaxia Gorge in Yeliguan Township, Lintan County, with a total length of more than 30 kilometers. It belongs to the Qilu arc-shaped fold zone in the West Qinling Mountains. The peaks of the Xiaxia Gorge are cut like axes and knives, and the walls stand thousands of feet high, which is extremely steep. In the canyon, there are towering stone peaks, which are close at hand. Under the rock, the rapids of the Yemu River are surging, clear and bitter, and the waterfalls in the mountains are like practice, hanging cliffs. People in the gorge seem to have no way to come, and nowhere to go. Being in the fairyland of the Buddha Pavilion, it seems to be far away from the world.
The top of the canyon is a plain and hilly area, with vast natural pastures, scattered cattle and sheep, tents, and a very wide field of vision. Looking at the towering Baishi Mountain in the north, it is covered with snow, and the bare rocks of the mountain are also grayish white, just like a mirage outside the sky.
On the west side of Kangduo Gorge is Piaowa Tu nationality township. There are sparse Tu nationality villages dotted on the mountain. The old board houses are row upon row, and the sound of chickens and dogs can be heard from afar.
