The Kangxi Grassland and the West Jing Grassland are in fact one, spreading out along the Guanting Reservoir. In fact, it is a grassland formed by the submerged area of the Guanting Reservoir, and it is also the largest grassland in the suburbs of Beijing. It leans against Haituo Mountain in the north, Guanting Lake in the west, and is surrounded by mountains and rivers. The entire pasture covers an area of more than 90,000 mu, with flat terrain, vast grasslands, and rich animal and plant resources. Every late spring and midsummer, the grass is green and the scenery is pleasant.

The grassland is long and narrow from north to south along the shore of the lake. The northern suburbs are the fishing area, the northwest is the bonfire area, the south is the camel field, and the south is the yurt area and the tent area. The activities here are very rich: visitors can ride horses and whips to feel the heroism of nomads; they can row boats in the lake and mountains; they can fish and play in the water; summer nights are a good opportunity to hold bonfire parties.
