Kenting National Park is located on the south side of the Hengchun Peninsula. It is a national park surrounded by the sea on three sides. It is also a national park covering both land and sea.

Main Attractions

Touring Kenting National Park is generally divided into the east line and the west line with Hengchun Ancient City as the center, and the east and west lines are also divided into the east line and the east line, and the west line and the west line. The main scenic spots are basically on the east and west lines, but because the attractions are relatively separated, it takes basically 2 days to visit all the attractions. Yes, Hengchun Old Town is the place where the story of the movie "Cape No. 7" took place and The filming location, where you can visit the home of the leading actor Ajia in the movie, take a photo with the mailbox, send a postcard to a friend, and visit and enter the bustling West Gate in the ancient city.

Starting from Hengchun Old Town, you can go to Maobitou Park on the Xixia Line. It is located at the southwest end of the Hengchun Peninsula. It is named Maobitou because it looks like a crouching cat. Due to the terrain, various natural terrains have been formed here. The scenery here is pleasant, and it has also become a good place to watch the sea and rocks. After visiting here, you can go east to Longluantan. It is a place where migratory birds flock to spend the winter every autumn and winter, and it is also an ideal bird watching spot.

Walking all the way back from Eluanbi Park, you will pass Chuanfan Rock on the way, which is located between Kenting and Eluanbi Park. It is a reef standing in the sea, and it looks like a sailboat about to set sail from a distance. Continue to go back, you can come to Nanwan Beach. Similarly, you may not know about Nanwan, but you must know that "Life of Pi" directed by Ang Lee and won multiple Oscars, Nanwan Beach is the filming location for the end of the movie. The sea is clear and blue, and the beach is beautiful and delicate. It is also one of the representative scenic spots in Kenting National Park and has become the base camp for water sports in Kenting.

Kenting Music Festival

When it comes to Kenting, I have to mention the "Kenting Spring Wave Music Festival" held in Eluanbi Lighthouse Park in early April every year. This is an outdoor music event that can detonate the music season and attracts many singers and fans every year. Come here, there are many foreign tourists here. And the performances are all maintained before 12 midnight.
