The beautiful and magical Yalu River originates from the southern foot of Daxing’an Mountains. The river flows through the territory of Zhalantun City for nearly 100 kilometers along the trend of high in the west and low in the east. Within the township, the whole journey is 10 kilometers. This section of the river is fast and clear, with picturesque scenery on both sides of the river, wide water surface and moderate depth. Therefore, it is also known as "Northern Country Drift".
