Kirti Temple is located in the northwest corner of Aba County, Sichuan Province. Kirti Temple was built in the 9th year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1870), and it is a sub-temple of Ruoergai Dazhalang Moguerden Temple. After more than 100 years of development, the temple has become one of the larger temples in the Anduo Tibetan area. The temple buildings are row upon row, just like a small city. Kirti Monastery is composed of a resplendent sutra hall, four Dhacangs, five Buddhist halls and many various monk houses. The prayer-turning corridor around the temple is two kilometers long, and more than 5,000 prayer wheels are installed. Whenever religious activities are held, more than a thousand monks can gather, and the scene is very spectacular. Among the many temples in Aba, Kirti Temple is unique for its row upon row of buildings and gorgeous appearance.
