Kizilgaha Beacon means "red-billed old bird" or "red checkpoint" in Uighur, and was built in the Han Dynasty. This majestic ancient military building, after more than 2,000 years of ups and downs, still has a majestic appearance. It is the oldest and well-preserved beacon site of a rammed earth building among hundreds of beacons on the ancient Silk Road in Xinjiang. The base plane of the beacon tower is rectangular, 6 meters long from east to west, 4.5 meters wide from north to south, and 16 meters high, thick at the bottom and thin at the top, and gradually shrinks from bottom to top. The main system of the beacon tower is built with rammed earth, and the thickness of the rammed layer is about 15 centimeters. The upper part of the beacon tower is made of wooden columns, and the distance between each layer is about 1 meter. The top is built of adobe. On the watchtower, there are still remnants of the wooden fence. Due to long-term weathering, the end area is concave, forming a large groove. The collapsed ruins on the north side of the beacon tower are the ruins of ancient buildings, which could have been used to climb to the top of the beacon tower.
