Kongshen Miao Village is located in Liangwang Township, Rongjiang County, Guizhou Province. It is said that it is the descendant of Zhang Guolao and his sister. There are 215 households and 1015 people in the village. Because Miao women wear five-inch miniskirts all year round to work and live, and has a long history, it is known as the hometown of miniskirts in the world.
The village is built on the mountain, surrounded by undulating mountains, lush forests, a clear stream flows by the village, the layout of the houses is reasonable, and there are rows of stilted buildings. What attracts the world's attention here is the annual "Mao Ren Festival". Every year from February to March of the lunar calendar, adults, young men and women, regardless of their age, whether they are married or not, can find a like-minded partner to Maorenpo to form a team, sing love songs and make fun of. Those who are particularly in love with each other will hint at each other, and find another quiet place away from the group. The festive atmosphere is warm, unrestrained and romantic.
