The Jiulongtan Scenic Area is mainly composed of an artificial waterfall about 8 meters high, a giant pool under the waterfall, and a large area of green forest and lawn around it. The water source of the waterfall comes from the Fengke Main Canal. The turbulent water jets out from a giant dragon mouth in the middle. Using the gushing speed of the water and natural gravity to form a huge waterfall with a width of about 10 meters, the 8 dragon mouths arranged on both sides of the waterfall are also sprayed at the same time. The water column forms a huge water corridor.
Below the waterfall is a huge rectangular backwater pool with rippling blue waves. There are small arch bridges on the east and west sides of the pool connecting the islands in the pool, which become a thoroughfare across the huge pool. The giant pool is surrounded by flat ground paved with granite, roses, marigolds and other flowers bloom in flower beds on both sides, and green lawns dotted with flowers on the slope.
In order to set off the vivid nine dragons, a group of antique buildings were also ingeniously built on the dam that crosses the main canal, with a total construction area of about 600 square meters. There are two octagonal halls on both sides, a gatehouse in the middle and a corridor connecting the gazebo and the gatehouse. There are also corridors about 100 meters on both sides of the giant pool.
