Jiulong Temple, also known as Xuanwu Temple or Zhenwu Temple, is named for its location among the nine peaks at the foot of Zijin Mountain, 1.5 kilometers northwest of Xincheng, Hejin City. It is unknown when the temple was founded. According to existing data, Yuan and Ming dynasties worshiped Zhenwu God of the North Pole. It was rebuilt or added during Wanli in Ming Dynasty and Kangxi, Daoguang, Xianfeng and Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty. In 1981, Hejin City carried out salvage maintenance on it, which made the temple look brand new. The nine peaks are shaped like dragons, commonly known as Jiulongtou, and because the hills are covered with green pines and cypresses, and the purple rhyme is quiet, it was called "Wolonggang" long before Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty. In the eleventh year of Xianfeng (1861), Wang Zhaoli of Chongwen Society When they created Chongwen Pavilion and Chunyang Cave, they named it "Lindao".

Jiulong Temple is located on Lin Island, covering an area of ​​more than 12,000 square meters. There are more than 160 steps at the foot of the mountain in front of the temple, and there are more than 160 steps. From the Xiandian to the northwest, there are Luzu Chunyang Cave, Xianting, Yaowang Temple, Chongwen Pavilion, corridors and columns, and ascending steadily. Jade Emperor Pavilion, Ziwei Great Emperor, Sangong, Sanhuang Cave, Laojun Palace, pass the plank road on the Nantian Gate, and reach the peak Chaotian Palace (destroyed).
